On 6 Nov 2020 in Horsham, PA Lori and Chelsiah were attending a mutual friend’s (Sharita aka Wee Wee) promotion ceremony. Prior to the ceremony Lori requested to be seated at the single people table. Wee Wee called Chelsiah and asked if I mind sitting at the singles table and Chelsiah did not mind.

Once Chelsiah arrived at the event, Wee Wee’s mom told chelsiah she would be sitting in the middle at the family table. Who’s going to say no to mom 🤧😂. as chelsiah was seated thinking nothing of it, Lori and her best friends arrive. Chelsiah notices her but thought she was she someone and glossed over the idea of approaching her.

Apparently Lori noticed Chelsiah and her investigation of chelsiah was and whether or not chelsiah was with someone. lori spent most of her night trying to figure out why chelsiah was at the family table, who chelsiah was, and what her relationship status was, and why there was no singles table 😂.

It came time for chelsiah to speak at the event and Lori then noticed who was on the program. lori still has the program folded to chelsiah name til this day. Randomly, Wee Wee taps chelsiah on the shoulder and says “umm someone wants to meet you at the ice sculpture” and chelsiah confusingly begins to look around the room trying to figure out who was inquiring. Lori was the last person chelsiah thought it would be, but deep down desired.

Reluctantly, chelsiah goes to the ice sculpture not knowing that Lori’s best friend Regina was coercing lori to walk to the bathroom which would pass by the ice sculpturE.

Lori and Regina approach the ice sculpture first. As soon as chelsiah arrives to the ice sculptureRegina walks away. Lori and Chelsiah look at each other, smile, and just start laughing because they realized they were set up. After exchanging numbers they went back to the party because things were so awkward.

At the end of the night, Chelsiah(90's R&B head) asked the dj to play Tevin Campbell’s Can we talk,which happened to be the first dance of Lori and chelsiah, while they both sang their hearts out. That’s been our song ever since.

After the event, they talked and texted nonstop. Lori’s logic was “if I stay on the phone with her, she can’t be on the phone with anyone else” 😂it worked! Little did she know, chelsiah didn’t want to be on the phone with anyone else. Lori came to Columbus to visit chelsiah on 29 Dec 2020 and made it official. 29 december has been officially dubbed

29mas because it was like Christmas for the two of them.
